4·2 days agoAll of them. They’re parasites.
And I’m not opposed to ditching US tech, quite the opposite, but let’s not pretend it ends with a load of spare money for Europe because trickle up economics is real and it just ends in our own billionaires having it all, who’ll just invest it all in US tech stocks anyway…

5·4 days agoIt is bizarre how they all fled reddit when they got greedy, so ran off and set up on Discord instead. So now you get a procession of users with the same 4 questions over and over.
I’ve said this for years. Make it like The Price is Right and just call people down from the stands to do the 110m hurdles.
Seeing somebody train their entire life and have the perfect genetics for something isn’t encouraging normal people to have a go. I want to see a fat builder doing the triple jump for a cash prize.

Days Gone starts out like The Last of Us but for people who think wrestling is real.
But it definitely picks up later when you expand your toolkit. The horde gameplay makes this game memorable. I played on PS5 and I think the improved framerate and motion controls gave it a new lease of life.

18·9 days agoI want devs to write games for £400 Steam Decks. I don’t want them to write games for £3000 GPUs.
There’s realistically no games that won’t run on PS5 level hardware. Every effect that can be done with raytracing can be done a little worse without it.

The UK never had that, and we were in the EU for ages. We still had pints. We measured the road speed in miles.
Realistically the EU is just a collection of nations with similar socio-economic status and roughly similar culture. None of them dominate the others. Much of the rules are just common sense shit. Don’t sell easily combustible clothing, etc. Odds are you meet most of it already.

Not sure why they’d think kids are the target audience for a remake of a 29 year old game.
