For a moment I got that and material files mixed up… Since I’m in the fossify ecosystem with messaging, camera, and calling, I might end up trying that to see if I like it better than material files.

So, found what I think is their page since I wasn’t sure if the f-Droid version was up to date and 10 months old for an app seems like a long time between updates to me. Willing to try it, though, and hope nothing happens.

Damn. Wish that was standardized across clients.

I don’t know if different clients/instances/communities could play a role in how those work, but I don’t think I’ve ever really seen many working ones, at least as long as I’ve been using Voyager.

There are a couple of bosses in that game I absolutely hate to this day and do not like whatsoever. One returned from the original and one is a variant of it. Every game has had a variant of that shall which not be named. Any other arachnophobes probably know what I’m talking about without needing to mention the name.

Best solution I could see to this type of censorship of apps would be to sell an APK of it on someplace like itch(dot)io or a different store of their choice if they already aren’t. Just give up and start pointing towards those types of places. Though, I would make a final update to those who bought the game on the play store to at least tell them what’s going on and direct them to wherever the app would be available. Even if they’re not updating the game, probably still something to at least consider.

Looked up the itch page for it and top comment right now is pretty much saying they should either put the APK for sale either on itch or humble bumble, steam as a DLC if possible to do so, or am•zon’s app store. I personally think itch is the safest bet myself, but I’m also an idiot who doesn’t know what sites are better for that type of stuff.

I had some prior knowledge before playing by watching someone online play the demo quite a bit, so it didn’t take me long to figure out. The major problem I have is that I don’t remember which hands are better between straight and flush and around there, but that’s easily mitigated by the run button thing on the side.

I think one of the few default things I’ve technically replaced on my laptop right now is Libreoffice’s powerpoint software with the OpenOffice one because I am too dumb to figure out how to make it so Libreoffice’s powerpoint software doesn’t immediately default to every character having basically 0 spacing between each other every time I either make a new document or slide. That, and I can almost never find the right number of points to make the text look good no matter the font.

Also, I do have the Librewolf appimage, but I use it a little less than my slightly tweaked default Firefox install.

Otherwise I’m normally fine with defaults, besides installing gridplayer to watch things off my external HD so I can watch and resize my shows in a way I can’t with other video players.

When I installed MX KDE on my laptop, I found out about yakuake as it was installed by default. I always use it almost immediately whenever I log in to run my update script. Saves a few extra seconds to just press f4 rather than click the terminal icon and then type. Absolutely love it.

I swear, standardization kills fun and creativity.

I’ve never played that game either, but the gameplay certainly looks fun.

I’ve seen Nine Sols on Steam, but knowing it’s from the same people who made Devotion makes me wanna pick it up more because I thought that was a pretty good game (even if I didn’t experience it first hand).

I am not 100% sure on the exact year, but some time in the mid, possibly late, 2000s is when I think my family ditched it.

All I know is I have memories of it being somewhere around 2011-12 and not wanting to have the router moved out of my grandma’s room because mine was directly below hers, which narrows it down to probably before 2010. Didn’t live outside society, either.

I don’t know whether I have the original or remaster, but I personally believe New Super Lucky’s Tale is a pretty fun game.

In total, the only 2 games I’ve gotten that I know we’re part of the sail were Sonic Origins (with DLC) and Sonic Mania (with DLC). Would be playing them more if I wasn’t having to message Steam back and forth trying to get an issue with my deck fixed, though.

Already got a couple games/DLC because they were a good deal. Got 2 games and 2 DLC for $22.22 before tax. Pure luck, baby.

Been thoroughly enjoying Sonic Origins but have yet to play Sonic Mania, though.

I think Sonic Mania is currently less than $10 and Sonic Origins was something like $16.99 with the Plus DLC. No idea if those are good deals, but definitely better than the $30+ for Origins on its own in my opinion.

I don’t have any games that would be too uncomfortable to talk about in my library, so this wouldn’t be an issue for me. Sure I might not want to talk in public about the furry dating sim Amorous, but pretty much anything else I’ve played would definitely be fair game. Especially Ardor and talking about collecting teeth to confuse people walking by.

Just looked at my 24, 23, and 22 replay and they’re all so different from one another. Crazy. Somehow I was heavy on 3D platformers this year despite only playing 3 that could fit that category, at least from my library of Steam games.
