A passenger in the car with Ruben Ray Martinez wrote that the men were trying to comply with authorities before Mr. Martinez was shot. The passenger, Joshua Orta, died in a car accident on Saturday.

Not if you read the article’s account of the crash, which is well down in the article.

In particular, the part about how his sister and the other two people in the car didn’t mention anything suspicious.

“The Department of Homeland Security described the shooting as an act of self-defense, saying the agent had “fired defensive shots to protect himself, his fellow agents and the general public” after the driver “ran over” a Homeland Security Investigation special agent.”

Sounds like the exact, false, justification given for Renée Good’s murder.

Gov lies until presented with proof (and sometimes they still maintain the lie). No credibility anymore.

I really, genuinely hate that this administration has forced us all into a conspiracy theory world where literally nothing is impossible.

It’s about time frankly this isn’t new or limited to these guys, cops lie, and have our entire lives, and courts pretend to believe them, and the sooner you all learn it the better.

The crash over the weekend had no connection to the shooting last March.

People in their mid 20’s at 1:30 in the morning crashing while exiting the freeway sounds fishy to you? Because that looks like drunk driving to me.

Plus it sounds like he was the only one in the car of several people who died and it doesn’t infer anything about their being any other vehicles involved.

Then, if you went out to try and kill someone, would you really think a car wreck would be your best chance to do it? Like 95%+ of wrecks aren’t fatal anymore. It’d be like the dumbest most inconsistent way to try.

If you’re going to make conspiracy theories; they have to still be a little bit plausible. Not like wrecking a car that leaves three survivors\witnesses

What’s it matter? Unless the driver claims the car suddenly started driving itself and stomping on the gas as it steered into the median against their efforts, why would you suspect any foul play? Article doesn’t mention anything about anyone’s bac. But it is a very short leap to make an assumption when a crash happens around when the bars close from a group of people in their 20’s.

It matters because that’s what you implied. I wanted to know if you knew something I don’t. I didn’t make any claims about foul play. I didn’t assume anything, but it seems you might have made some assumptions.

You’re in a thread chain that started about a guy saying the crash doesn’t sound like an accident. I never said anything that looked like I knew some fact.

For what its worth, I agree with your analysis.

My point was just that you are responding to me as though my question is somehow a challenge.

I can see how you might have interpreted it that way, but its also just not what I said at all.

There’s a reason that Putin throws people out of windows. He wants everyone to know that he killed those people, and he wants everyone to know that nobody is going to stop him.

Trump and his fascist army wants you to know that they will murder witnesses, and nobody will stop them.

Even if it was just a horrible coincidence, Trump is going to act like they killed him because he likes taking credit for things.

So it is your assertion that his own sister and the other two occupants of the crash who got out but were unable to get him out - they didn’t notice anything suspicious at all? And you think that if there was anything suspicious, nobody would have reported it?

I say this is a failure of common sense and of the internet.
