Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty on Friday urged the public to send any video or evidence of the fatal shooting of Renee Good directly to her office, despite the Trump administration assigning the investigation solely to the FBI.
Why It Matters
The FBI has barred Minnesota law enforcement from joining the investigation or reviewing key evidence in the fatal shooting, asserting full federal control over the case.
Local prosecutors said they are weighing legal options as Gov. Tim Walz urged federal officials to reconsider, warning that early statements from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem defending the agent could undermine confidence in the probe’s fairness.

He was not touched.
I can’t play it because I don’t have a tiktock account.
Rip. I wish I could embed it. You can verify elsewhere. He was absolutely not touched outside of he himself putting his hand on the vehicle. He was a few feet out of the way. He put himself in that position to begin with anyway. So while I’d have sympathy if he were hurt, I still wouldn’t have blamed her in the slightest. ICE training (and border patrol if I’ve understood correctly does) should never encourage how he approached her.
