Oh, that makes more sense. Rage was (is?) a tv show on ABC (Australia) and they play music all through the night. lots of indie stuff and other stuff like that.
Yup. Rage is epic. It got me through MANY sleepless nights. I had insomnia for 10+ years, sleeping 4-5 hours a WEEK. Rage helped. A lot.
Mind you, this was before pirating movies took minutes. Back then when i had insomnia chronically, it would take 4-7 days to download a movie on dialup.
I remember when download managers were invaluable. Leaving a download running overnight on trailer park internet, only to find in the morning that it had failed. Soul-crushing.

Hell yeah, so it was like your version of prime MTV2/Fuse TV, maybe. For awhile, they returned to their music roots and it was epic.

haha yeah, or downloading a movie over a week only to find out it was german scat porn lol. True story.
My only counterpoint would be “downloading a movie and discovering Jordan Capri.”
I look back now and remember how rewarding it was when that DivX file finally finished. “Hell yeah, movie time!”
