Gov. Tim Walz has activated the National Guard after 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti was shot and killed by a federal officer in Minneapolis, drawing hundreds of protesters.
My understanding is it appears that the guy who was shot was trying to defend another person who was shoved by an ICE agent. They then dragged him away from the other person, tried to restrain him, took his gun (he was armed but didn’t appear to try and use his weapon), and then one of the agents executed him.
