My last booster did something to my nerves in the injected arm. I couldn’t lift it and needed help dressing and putting on\taking off my coat. The lack of mobility looked an awful lot like how somebody whose had polio in the upper limb would look like.
It took around 9-12 months to be able to reach up, or put my hand on my back.
My friends wife did not get so lucky, it paralyzed half her face, her eye, and her neck on the side of the injection. Doctor said recovery is 7-10 years, and might not fully come back.
I’m not discouraging people from getting the vaccine, just know your risk factor.
For myself the doctor said it looks like whatever the reaction is it also was attacking my connective tissues in my joints.
For me the Moderna had some side effects but not Pfizer. So I had to request that one specifically this year. I wouldn’t have gotten it if it was Moderna so I understand.
