Was going to share a non image file on lemmy but I’m not sure what would be the best way to go about it. I could share a google cloud link but i feel like there’s a better way. Any advice?

As long as you don’t have your own server any service boils down to “someone else’s computer that could stop working at any moment”. So Google Cloud, Mega, Dropbox, whatever are fine.
