Just do what we need to do and lie to him, pretend we’re doing everything we can, buy time and keep diversifying. Buy the Gripens, negotiate the deal in secret if needed so you don’t need to announce it until the last minute. At this point don’t commit to anything with the US. Delay, delay, delay.
