My dad was status native, I couldn’t get that…now I’ll say what is my recollection because it’s been many years but I got the impression was because they (government…other? Unsure) disbanded the tribe for whatever reason that was. Mean I don’t want to claim rights or anything but a shame of whatever the reason a tribe was to not recognize it means someone doesn’t get those rights. I sort of thought it was cause my Mom was too white for many years, so sort of unsure. It’s unfortunately too late to get specifics but think the band being disbanded was the reason and a poor one. Apparently he tried to get me those rights at least once but was denied.
Won’t happen functionally, as it’s designed to. I feel for the US citizens, they’ll break it all. From Canada where they had a new system, Phoenix or something for payroll I think, it caused a lot of hassle and was probably well intentioned, unlike this, but I never read much on it.
He’s a socially stunted bully (wait is that repeating myself?, not sure up to a certain age anyways) so yes, I think one of most satisfying wishes to make these days would be to give Trump self awareness and empathy.

Base 10 is so simple for metric don’t know why we haven’t adopted it everywhere, I say that knowing weight in pounds and height in feet / inches, cause who wants to convert everything? But still, would have been better to understand that way from school teachings and used Canada wide.
With different mods each playthrough can be quite different too. That’s why easily modable games are awesome for their price. Of course I just like being in a big shooty mech to blow stuff up so may be biased on that one in particular.

My GIC came due and I was considering mutual funds, the bank employee (in those services not like a random one) even said now may not be the best time to do that due to the way markets are in flux. Like they make money if I put it into mutual funds. Unless she just didn’t want to help me shrug that’s sort of a possibility since they didn’t call for our previous appointment when my last one was due. Least it’s making more than my bank account I guess but this seems a bit more down than usual too, mean that’s usually a good time to buy but who knows when they manipulate it up? Not us regular folk, who have more to lose when they absolutely tank it before it makes gains and a pittance because I chose the wrong one.
Also I’m sure I made the incorrect choice, you’re welcome to tell me how badly I’ve chosen. I used to play RPG games, in D&D I rolled a 1 for attack and 20 for ability check twice in 4 rolls, I always have the worst luck. Go to slots and see my buddy with a bucket of coins when mine ran out in as many tries as my coinage allowed. So if I chose to buy the markets would suck longer lol.
At first I read that as hundreds of thousands for each trip, then wondered how behind the curve I was. Then realized I was further back than I thought for not reading correctly.
Disney sounded fun when I was a kid, as a middle aged adult I’d rather go to places with less large carnivorous reptiles and smaller crowds. In Canada in the 80s took forever to figure out the difference between Disney World and Land, I just figured Land was the only place. Also didn’t help there is a Hollywood Florida I learned about then too.
Same here, just in case, was getting time for an upgrade so did the non GPU stuff. 10700k to 9800x3d, was very worth it for gaming. Now hopefully will be good besides the GPU until the next administration. If there is one of course, he’ll push for a other term by the end through some shady manner.
Does the Trump administration even consider what is lawful before they do anything? Oh well maybe just so they come up with a distraction story. I try not to keep up anymore because the first term tired me out (plus I’m not American), but I wonder how much Musk’s actions are a smokescreen for the rest of stuff going on at the moment. Not that they aren’t welcome actions for the new fascist regime, but they were usually doing worse than the biggest news headlines showed.
Damnit I just got a 9800x3d, guess I’ll be good knowing I can upgrade to whatever gpu comes out that’s in the sweet spot for awhile. I do have a 3070 so not like I’m slumming it, but was really hoping that the 50xx series would be worth it. Guess it’s time to read up on ray tracing and dlss type features since I haven’t done that homework in many years now. Always seemed like Nvidia was better supported but maybe not the big difference it it appears to be. I have gone back and forth over the years anyways.

My close save on (company from graphic) seems to have trouble keeping eggs in stock, plus it’s like $8-9 for free range which I usually try to buy. Their quality (used to be quite orange now more dull, not as yellow as most eggs still) has gone down I hope the chickens are treated better.

How anyone can think Trump is in it for anyone but himself after his first term is baffling. You only need moderate thinking skills to realize that, which I understand is an issue as well with education.
I don’t recall being as sick yearly compared to after COVID hit than before, course I am in my 40s now so I’m sure that factors into it but rarely was I curled up on the couch with a noticeable fever even for other sickness. I’d even venture I rarely had the flu before that, almost never had a fever for a couple days but since then at least once a year I get pretty ill with a decent fever for a few days, sometimes twice a year. For those wondering yes I got my shots and can only imagine how awful it’d be without them.
I used to quite enjoy the radio stations in Surviving Mars well a couple of them, apparently spent 145 hours in the game total. There may have been a few times it accidentally ran overnight from not closing but for what it was, it was fairly fun. Plus getting to turn Mars green always felt rewarding. I always played with chill locations though, never went for the hard runs, sometimes it’s fun to play like humanity succeeds.
I truely hope that remains our country’s policy. What a great way to say it as well. We’re all human and neighbors, living on this tiny (in a galactic sense) rock so let’s make our corner of it accepting to those that want the same.
