Yeah, photos with that gesture are usually just taken in bad faith of somebody doing something completely different.
On the other hand, the video is clear and explicitly of the guy purposefully doing the entire gesture.

As long as there is an war going on for the rest of Putin’s life, I don’t think he cares about the any of those problems.
All he cares about is that if there isn’t a war going on, Russians will start to look at what their own government does.
You are mathing wrong. The GP is correct, except for the fact that it applies to the Y axis.
(… it’s a much smaller change on the X axis anyway, something with 10 zeros before the first non-zero digit…)
Hum… Not yet.
Up to now, just a bunch of mislead nobodies faced any consequence. And a guy that was actively blocking investigations. Nobody that really participated in it got any consequence by doing it.
The funny thing is, that law was pushed by the same party that is now in power, and was spoken really well about by most of the judges criticizing it now.
I have to say… On all predictions about how the World War 3 would start, I imagine absolutely nobody guessed “NATO against the USA”.
There are only a handful of countries around the world with that habit of starting international wars.
(Civil wars are a different matter.)
Enough to make a RAID 6. As few as possible.
“Slavery-like” is not slavery.
That said, those people were in slavery. It’s just that the company is being persecuted for 2 other related crimes (slavery-like conditions and human traffic).
they simply earn more by selling little electricity at high prices than by selling more electricity at lower prices
So, they have the perfect incentive system for a reserve provider?
stating workers voluntarily handed over passports
And they voluntarily handed over their salaries too?
Also, that one law they are responding to (“slavery-like conditions”) would be broken without they arresting people in place and refusing to pay them. That “like” is there for a reason. It’s not clear if they’ll get charged for actual slavery (and thus go to jail), China may take over that one claim.
I sometimes have to send in my passport for stamps, verification, visa applications etc
I imagine you do that while you are on your home country.
Collecting passports from people away from their country is a huge “no, you don’t” thing. But from people in their own country is no big deal.
Yeah, like asbestos… if asbestos bio-accumulated forever.
Instead, the world has a few mechanisms that will make asbestos harmless after a few generations. Not so much for diamonds.
Of all the aerosols they could think about!
No chance at all of a basically indestructible material not being destructed if absorbed by lungs (or gills) and leading to some disease. You don’t need to check. There’s no way this could go wrong.
Or, rather… I believe lead is cheaper… Given how much people like to use it, maybe it’s a better option.
It’s worse.
It implies the killer has no idea who he is, so the police informing the name is different from just telling him they know his name.
Hum… They just got a device for excluding the president’s party from the legislative process?

From that to a “functioning democracy” there’s a large distance. But yeah, it’s not completely disfunctional
Apparently, a fan recently converting into hating (hating everybody). He posted quite a lot of craziness before filling a car with explosives and trying to blow something up.
Not slowed down it looks worse. And if you continue a bit, it’s still worse.
