I have something like that, sorta. I work for a very tiny company (literally 4 people), and so we couldn’t get a good insurance plan that covered vision and dental because insurance companies suck ass.
So my dentist has a thing where I pay a single price once a year and get 2 cleanings out of the deal. Though anything beyond that is still out of pocket.
The AI image is so shitty it couldn’t even produce a rectangle. You can see near the bust on the table it’s all fucked up.
I know that’s beside the point, but I sure do hate AI.

Yeah, I’ve not used Google Drive or Dropbox in years but have just let my data sit on their servers.
Now that all these companies want to scrape our files for AI bullshit it felt like a good time to remove it all.

It’s not terrible, but it feels like it’s slowly becoming worse as they add new garbage. And especially if they start forcing a bunch of AI shit I’m out.

Too late, I’m fully stuck in on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and I do not have room for anything else in the “big, open world RPG with swords and armor and shit” genre.
I had a bit of a breakthrough with some personal growth with my code today.
I learned a bit more about entity framework that my company is using for a project, and was able to create a database table, query it, add/delete/update, normal CRUD stuff.
I normally work mostly on front end code, so it was rewarding to learn a new skill and see the data all the way from the database to the UI and back - all my code. I felt great after doing a code review this afternoon to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, and we talked about some refactoring to make it better.
AI will never give you that.
I’m less worried about a chain of custody as I am with them simply using ICE thugs to scare people away from the polling places.
Not everywhere in the country, but they’ll try to use them “for security” in blue, multicultural cities and that’ll fuck up the vote.
That’s my guess.
