I was wondering the same thing. I was like, yeah no shit, Sherlock.

I want to improve my notifications. With that I mean emails coming from the server when updates are available when something happens during my rsync backup routines or just when they are completed and so on. Right now I don’t really know when something is happening just when the server is not working anymore.
Pinging all other db0 admins in case they want to give it a shot:
What do you think about doing this for dbzer0? @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com
I kind of hoped for a custom character like V
Yep, I used to sync my Obsidian vault with Syncthing but I had some trouble with it once where stuff wasn’t properly synced and led to conflicts so I switched to paying for Obsidian Sync and have been very happy with it. I was especially happy to see that now offer a cheaper tier that has enough storage if you only sync text files.

The only thing that matters is that the cables don’t get caught up in any fans. Other than that you can stuff as many cables in a PC case as you want and it won’t impact temperatures by much (maybe 1 or 2 degrees Celsius). JayzTwoCents made a video about that. Cables don’t really impact air flow.
If they get blocked constantly chances are they are also getting reported for their behaviour and eventually banned.
The Following feed is chronological and every other feed is mostly made by other people.
In Bluesky you choose your own algorithms by adding feeds you follow.
If no one gives the Nazi an audience they will go away eventually.
Ok true, I think I forgot that you also see the Discover feed? But you can just remove that from your feeds and add any feed you like or just use the Following feed.
But that’s not true for Bluesky. The only feed that you see when newly registering is the Following feed which is chronological.
Hard pity is at 90 wishes and soft pity starts at 75 (which means that the chance to get a 5 star increases significantly with each additional wish past that point). Getting to hard pity almost never happens.
